I love reading stories about moments in Disney history and how they affected pop culture. I was curious to see what others are out there. Here are my two all-time favorites. What are yours?
1974 - John Lennon officially dissolves the Beatles at the Poly 1973 - Richard Nixon delivers his "I am not a crook" speech at the Contemporary Resort. Isn't it ironic that these two events took place at the "happiest place on earth"? |

The first thing I thought of was how this phrase is now part of the American culture.
"Eli Manning, you've just won the Super Bowl. What are you going to do next?" "I'm going to Walt Disney World" We all look forward to this part of the superbowl every year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjfXCvaYbWU
