I read it somewhere else, but can't find it. Here's an article I found on Mouseplanet:

http://www.mouseplanet.com/8764/Disney_and_McDonalds

Go about 3/4 down the article for details.

I once read somewhere too that Ray was ruthless as a businessman, and when Disney started declining a bit, he drew up plans for a McDonald's theme park in L.A. to compete with Disneyland. He got as far as picking out the land before being shot down by Mickey D's board of directors.

Sorry to get off topic. Back to coffee talk...

I don't get the tie-in either, but I am glad it is not pushed in your face in bright letters and signs.

I was thinking that I'd like to see Starbucks in the resort food courts. I doubt this is going to happen but it would be nice for early in the morning when you're on those commando trips. Like this trip coming up in September... I know I'm not going to get ANY sleep so it would be awesome to have some good coffee available at my resort.

I hope this is a joke but Stitchkingdom.com is reporting the following on twitter.

Quote:
.@WaltDisneyWorld Monorail Green to receive @Starbucks 'Mocharail' themed wrap ahead of MK/Epcot Starbucks opening.

I think this is taking it WAY TOO FAR!!

As an avid coffee drinker I'm excited.

But I must admit I don't mind the NesCafe Coffee, as long as it's leaded I'm good.

I am curious as to how soon we will see Starbucks in Disney World. All the articles I have read talked about Disneyland getting Starbucks in June.
