What a great report Rikki!!! And your pictures are fantastic! Especially love the night shot of Journey Into Imagination!!

You slept in front of my fireplace at WL Villas. It is the most relaxing place at WDW!!!

So funny about Vince's trek to Trails End!! I give him credit for hanging in there and making it over. I was cracking up!!

Thanks again for posting everything. I love reading TR's with photos!!!

Great report Rikki - thanks for sharing with us!

You guys made me tired just reading about all you did - especially on the first day!

So cool that you got to stay on Test Track - though I'm sure that outside part was brutal! And I can't believe you didn't get wet on Splash. We were in MK on Saturday and Sunday and decided to ride it Sunday. We got drenched! Guess the canons were turned back on!

I really want to try Trails End soon! Sounds yummy. And those Magic Cookie Bars at the WL are the best!

Looks like a nice meet at AI! And I love your DHS pictures from the empty park that night!

Get the first car of monorail is really great, isn't it? Did you get co-pilot (or something called like that....) from the pilot?
Thanks!

Yes, I did get my co-pilot license!

Thank you! I managed to get some great shots this time...all with my new point and shoot...I got one that I could adjust manually, which makes all the difference in the world!

I love that fireplace at the WL though! I will definitely be back there.

Oh, I give Vince tons of credit for making his way over. He's a trouper. (Either that or he didn't have anything else going on that night...

And you're very welcome!

Yeah...that first day was a bit exhausting, but we managed it! Don't know how though.

It was so brutal on Test Track, but I was in a scarf and gloves and had on a hoodie, so I kept somewhat warm...the face was frozen though. And they turned off the cannons on Thurs, but had them back on when we rode again on Sat...so Brian got drenched!

Trails End is so fablous! And I love Magic Cookie Bars so much I tried making them at home, but they weren't as good...guess it was missing pixie dust.

That meet at AI was fun...hope Michelle enjoyed it. And thanks for the compliment on the pics!

rikki, what a great report! you look so cute in the pic with the hat and the coconut... 16 hours isn't really TOO bad and I think doing part of it at night is a good strategy... then the traffic isn't so bad.

thanks again!

Yeah...I love that pic of the coconut and the hat! I really think I should have bought that coconut...I think it's so cool. Oh well, hopefully next time. D

And yeah, I think the strategy of driving overnight is a great idea and one I got from Mike actually. He probably didn't realize it, but I remembered him talking about driving at night and thought that was a smart idea.

Thanks for the trip report Rikkie with pictures. It looked very quiet at the parks from your pictures.

Great report, Rikki! Thanks especially for the lighthouse pics. I'm also a lighthouse nut. I've to all of 'em along the North Carolina coast and Outer Banks. I saw the Ponce de Leon from a boat when I went diving in Daytona. Nice to see the veiw from the top!

Driving at night is even better when you have two ansy kids. At least they may sleep while it is dark, and give you a chance to eat up some miles.
